Jellingspot Wireless Client
To access a Jellingspot Data Server, you must first install a Jellingspot client. The Jellingspot
client application handles all server searching functions, service connections, and service viewing for any Jellingspot Data Server. Users simply start the application, search for a server, connect to a server, and start using the services on that server. It takes 2 clicks to install and 2 clicks to start using the Jellingspot client, ensuring that the user's experience is friendly and uncomplicated.
How it works
Once the client application has been installed, run the application (in our screen shot examples, we are using a
Nokia 7650 Symbian based smartphone). Once the application has been started, users simply have to search for a Jellingspot server to connect to -- to do so, the user selects either "Quick Search" or "Active Search" from the client's options menu, as shown in image (1).
As the client begins to inquire for a Jellingspot, you will see
the inquiring indicator as shown in image (2). Once a
server has been found, the name of that server will be displayed
as shown in image (3).

Connecting to a Jellingspot
Once you have found the server you wish to connect with, you simply select the connect option and you will
be prompted to connect as shown in image (4). As you
connect, the available services at the corresponding Jellingspot
will pop up in the display as shown in image (5). Then,
once you select a service, depending on what you have chosen, you will be given
more options or you will start receiving data, as shown in image (6) (TextBroadcast
service).

Each service you connect to will have a different user interface, but what is universal is that each of them are
extremely easy to use. We will shortly post the full user guide for each service currently available; however, there is no better way to learn than by
downloading the client and getting hands on experience yourself. Please see the list of downloadable Jellingspot clients for
installation.
