Jellingspot Services
Jellingspot Data Server comes standard with the following two services:
- Informational Text Broadcast (TextBroadcast)
- Graphic Media Pusher (Adpusher)
Informational Text Broadcast
Informational Text Broadcast (TextBroadcast) is a service that sends text based messages to any wireless device running the Jellingspot client.
If you are familiar with SMS text messages or email, the service works
in a similar fashion. As shown below, once the user selects the
store (1) and service to connect to (2), in this case the
TextBroadcast service, the message inbox will start receiving messages
at which point the user can read them at anytime (once disconnected
from the server, the messages stay in the inbox, so you can read them
later or you may delete them):

Graphic Media Pusher
The Graphic Media Pusher (Adpusher) allows stores to send graphic based
advertisements and coupons to any wireless device running the
Jellingspot client. Much like a MMS or ad ware program on your
PC, once you connect to the AdPusher (1) service, you will begin
receiving various banners and coupons (2)(3) depending on what the
store is wishes to broadcast. Any ad or coupon can be save into
your inbox so you can redeem your coupon at the cashier's or take home
an ad for a later preview.

Future Services
TextBroadcast and Adpusher are the standard services that currently come with Jellingspot Data Server; however,
in the near future there will be two more:
- Multi-Media Pusher (MultiMedia): The MultiMedia service is a video pusher, allowing stores to send video clips of products, games, movies, and more.
- File Server (fServe): The fServe service allows stores to send catalogs, price guides, menus, and more.
